Walking for Mum 2019

Walking for Mum

On 28th July 2019, team ‘Walking for Mum’ came together to walk 10k around Virginia Waters in Surrey, to help raise money for Cancer Research UK.

The team ‘Walking for Mum’ consisted of about 35 members of whom are family and friends of Thelma Halcrow, our Company Secretary. Thelma was unfortunately diagonsied with cancer early in the year and undergoing continuous treatment.

The walk started in the car park for a group meet up around 10am before they all set off for a walk around the lake. They all finished the walk with a big picnic, consisting of sandwiches, sausage rolls, crisps, etc. This was much appreciated, especially by the little ones of the group. The Great Granchildren loved every moment.
