Clear Drains have annual targets that address main areas of the business. These targets are set, champions allocated and progress is regularly reviewed by senior management;
Our main targets are as follows:
Clear Drains is proud to have a successful Corporate Social Responsibility programme in place. Clear Drains regularly seeks to identify local and national organisations that require drainage needs and/or fundraising. Over the years, Clear Drains has raised over £600 through dress down days, cake sales, Christmas card posters and raffles for the range of charities that we support. Including supplying tanker services for Camp Mohawk and South Bucks RDA.
In 2017, we made Sue Ryder Nettlebed our chosen charity of the year. We look forward to presenting them with a cheque in the new year.
Currently, Clear Drains is working alongside Camp Mohawk and South Bucks RDA as part of our ISO14001 Corporate Social responsibility, by providing free of charge tanker services to their facilities.
Sue Ryder Nettlebed
Sue Ryder provide incredible palliative care for people with life-limiting conditions, helping people live as well as possible with the effects of their condition by offering symptom management and support from a team of healthcare professionals. Nettlebed hospice has an in patient unit with 12 beds, either located in single rooms or in single-sex rooms of 2 or 3 beds. They provide a 7 day community nursing service as well as day hospice services.
Camp Mohawk is a multi-functional day centre for children with special needs and their families, set in 5 acres of beautiful countryside, just outside Wargrave, Berkshire. Throughout the year the centre provides a range of activities, facilities and natural space to encourage children with a variety of special needs to play, socialise and learn in a secure and caring environment.
South Bucks Riding for the Disabled Association
At RDA, the horses and ponies provide therapy, achievement and enjoyment to people with disabilities all over the UK. Their network of 500 volunteer groups organise activities such as riding, carriage driving, vaulting and showjumping to up to 28,000 people each year.
They have been carrying out life-changing activities for over 40 years, and take great pride in the exceptional standard of their instructors and volunteers (18,000 in all). They offer activities for all age groups and, wherever possible, to people with any disability – and you are just as likely to find an RDA Group in an urban setting as a rural one.
This service has worked well for both charities and has enabled us to build links within the local community. Both charities appreciate the work we complete so they are able to redirect their funds to other crucial areas of their organisation.
